Who are the Chosen people of God

Advanced Insights: Christians, much like Esau did, will freely sell their birthright (their born again birthright as believers in Messiah Yahushua), through their belief in a lie.

Let us look at what the scriptures actually say...

Galatians 3

13 The Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written, “A curse on everyone who is hung on a tree!” 14 This happened in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the gentiles through the Messiah Yahushua, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.15 Brothers, let me use an example from everyday life. Once an agreement has been ratified, no one can cancel it or add conditions to it. 16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. It doesn’t say “descendants,” referring to many, but “your descendant,” referring to one person, who is the Messiah.

What Paul is saying, is that the earthly Jews, or anyone else for that matter, are not considered heirs according to the promises which Yahweh made to Abraham. Yahweh was specifically saying that the Messiah Yahushua would be heir to the promises of Abraham...and it is through the Messiah that those who are born again become heirs with Yahushua and receive the promises...as it is written in verses 7-9...

Galatians 3

7 You see, then, that those who have faith are Abraham’s real descendants. 8 Because the Scripture saw ahead of time that God would justify the gentiles by faith, it announced the gospel to Abraham beforehand when it said, “Through you all nations will be blessed.” 9 Therefore, those who believe are blessed together with Abraham, the one who believed.

The Messiah came to create in Himself one new creation. Where there was no distinction between Jew, or gentile. A new creation where those who have faith in Yahushua, the Son of Yahweh, might all become one in Him and heirs of the promises.

Yahweh told Abraham that through his seed, meaning one (the Messiah), all the nations would be blessed. The seed of the Messiah Yahushua is His Spirit, which is given to all those who believe that Yahushua came in the flesh, died on the cross, and was raised from the dead. And because we are in Him through faith, and given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we are raised with Him to a new life as a new creation. We are now the descendants of Abraham, because we have the same faith that Abraham had when HE received the promises by faith.

Romans 10

8 But what does it say?(the scriptures), “The message is near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the message about faith that we are proclaiming:

9 If you declare with your mouth that Yahushua is THEE Lord, and believe in your heart that Yahweh raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For one believes with his heart and is justified, and declares with his mouth and is saved. 11 The Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will never be ashamed.” 12 There is no difference between Jew and Greek, because they all have the same Lord, who gives richly to all who call on him. 13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

So you see brethren, that it is the born again believers that are the heirs of the promises through faith.

Does that mean that Father Yahweh has forgotten the Israelites? Certainly not!

Romans 11

25 For I want to let you know about this secret, brothers, so that you will not claim to be wiser than you are: Stubbornness has come to part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles comes to faith.

26 In this way, all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer will come from Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob. 27 This is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake, but as far as election is concerned, they are loved for the sake of their ancestors.

So do not boast in your heavenly position given to you. It wasn't earned, or deserved. It was only through the grace (Yahweh giving you the desire to know Him), of your heavenly Father that you are saved.
